About the event

Join the Ubuntu Cultural Pavilion for a special Veterans Series experience as we explore Marvin Gaye’s landmark album What’s Going On, presented by Rudy Carmenaty, Esq.

This presentation looks at how Gaye’s life experiences shaped his music and how the album gave voice to soldiers, families, and communities during a time of national transition. The program provides important cultural context for our upcoming Vietnam Oral History event on March 15, 2026, at the American Legion in Somerville, NJ.
